The North West Resource for Broadcast Editors
Alison Wood

Video Editor

Alison Wood

Creative, fast and friendly editor with over 20 years broadcast experience.

My output is centred on entertainment, factual, reality, drama and educational programming, for all the main broadcasters.

As an editor, I feel I stand out in my ability to understand the commissioner / client brief and convey this into a compelling visual and narratively strong story.

Another very important factor to me is keeping the mood light and friendly, during what can be some pressured times. I pride myself on being a friendly and adaptable editor, bringing ideas to the table to solve problems, along with listening to others to produce a balanced work environment.
