Alex Beards
Hello! I am a Liverpool-based Offline/Online Editor and Colourist who is a member of BFE and BAFTA Connect with a CV containing a wide variety of different roles and genres. My vast experience over the last few years has left me with a large understanding of different workflows, the whole post-production process and the nuances between Scripted and Unscripted to a high level. I pride myself on being a visual storyteller my ability to take a script and think about it as the first audience member and what creates a fantastic viewing experience when assembling an episode of television. In regards to my colour work I take this same philosophy and try and visually create a mood and a feel with the colour of the image. Also as I have worked on a variety of different kinds of programs, I understand the sensibilities of each genre and what is needed to craft it in a colouring sense to bring it to it's peak. I am eager to work on a variety of different dramas and with a variety of different people and any challenge truly excites me. I can also work remotely and in person, whichever is required.
